Revival Ministries International – Australia Meetings

The Australian office commenced operations ten years ago as a result of an amazing outpouring of the Holy Spirit across this nation that was highlighted by meetings which continued to exceed capacity crowds. In May 1996 in Melbourne, we saw history in the making when over 16,000 people registered for a week long time of refreshing and 2600 people made decisions for Christ.

Churches closed their offices and brought all their staff and encouraged their congregations to “soak” in these meetings. People came off the streets, into the venue not knowing what was going on and gave their lives to Jesus. “Changed – never the same again.

On Friday 17th May, over 11,000 people attended the final service of the meetings, with last minute overflow areas set up in the foyer, and 700 people responded to the altar call. The people were shouting at 105db (the Production men informed us that a 727 is 102 db at 100 meters).
The album ‘Revival Down Under’ was recorded at this meeting. Thousands also attended meetings in Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney.

  1. Wow those Ausies were sure excited about the Lord, shouting at 105db. I am happy to see that Revival Mininstries International went to Australia and all those people got saved. It is just like what Jesus said in Matthew 9:37 “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the Labourers are few.”

  2. I can imagine how 11,000 experienced the power of God that night. It must have been awsome!

I wish we could hand all those people one of those DVD’s that rodney howard made for soul winning, and they would pass them on to even more people!
