There will be times when people will mock us, beat us, persecute us but we have a great promise from God that blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Reading this message helped me to understand that I should not take persecution personally because this in not against me and God will give me strength and power to stand firm and to let my light shine in the darkness. God says that we should love, forgive, bless and pray for those who are mean to us and who persecute us and by doing this we will demonstrate the love of God and we will walk in blessings. It is not always easy to be a Christian.
